Methyl isobutyl ketone

Methyl isobutyl ketone is a colorless liquid used as extraction solvent for precious metals, solvents for many substances including paints, varnishes, gums, resins and nitrocellulose. It is also used in production of rubber products, chemicals, and machinery. It is used to enhance and preserve flavors and fragnances, denaturant in ethanol formulations, manufacturing of electroplating solutions, used food packing material.
