Fungal infections are called mycosis which are harmless whereas some fungal infections are capable of causing diseases. Fungal infections are most common on the skin, and nails and can also cause infections in the lungs, urinary tract, throat, mouth, and in many other parts of the body. Fungal infections generally look like rash on the skin, with red and swollen. If the fungal infection occurs on nails the nail color will be changed and become thick and cracked. These mostly occur on the body in moisture areas or having a lot of friction.
